Active Adult Strength Training in Pinecrest

Scalable, low-impact resistance training for adults 40 and older: build muscle, boost stamina, and protect your joints.

Built for adults 40 and older who want to safely build muscle, boost stamina, and protect their joints: scalable, low-impact resistance training tailored to your body, so you gain functional strength and stay active for life.

Why Strength After 40 Is Different

Without training, muscle mass gradually declines with age, and with it go strength, balance, and the everyday capabilities most people don't think about until they're missing. Progressive strength training is the most reliable way to push back. That's not a program you bolt on later in life; it's one designed for it from the start.

Safe, Structured, Steadily Challenging

Every session is led by a certified coach who adjusts each movement to your body, including knees, shoulders, and backs that have a few miles on them. Programming progresses steadily, so you're always challenged and never thrown into a workout designed for a 25-year-old.

Part of Every Membership

Strength training happens inside our small group personal training sessions, with progress measured by InBody body composition scans and supported by nutrition coaching.

Common Questions

Is this program really designed for people my age and fitness level?

Yes. While our programs are primarily designed for adults 40 and over, we welcome members of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you're brand new to strength training or returning after time off, our expert coaches and supportive small-group format ensure you feel confident, safe, and empowered every step of the way.

Do I have to be in shape already to join?

Not at all. Alloy is built for people who are starting out, starting over, or getting back into training after time away. We meet you where you are, with individualized coaching and programming tailored to your abilities, experience, and goals in every session.

I have an old injury (bad knee, shoulder, back). Can I still train at Alloy?

Yes, in most cases. We learn your history during your Personal Fitness Assessment and build modifications directly into your program, so you train hard where you can and smart where you need to.

Is this like CrossFit or a bootcamp?

No. There are no competitions, no whiteboard leaderboards, and no pushing through pain. Alloy is structured strength training with a coach who knows your name and your limits, in groups small enough that nothing gets missed.

Every Membership Starts the Same Way

Getting started is simple. Schedule a Personal Fitness Assessment: a no-pressure session where we assess how your body actually moves, talk through your goals and history, and map out a plan built around you. It's where you find out exactly what training with us will look like.
